In this article I want to tell you briefly something about London and what you can visit so keep on reading.
POPULATION, EDUCATION, SPORT

London has nearly 9 million inhabitants of which 20 000 are Czechs and Slovaks. It proves that London is multinational city.
London is home to many universities and high schools (click for a list). Museum and scientific research institutions as well. Imperial College London and University College London are in the top 10 best universities in the world.
The most popular sport in London is football and the city has several of England's leading clubs. London is the first city in which the Olympic Games took place 3 times!
LONDON TRANSPORT

Supposedly, London has the best public transportation system in the world! Means of transport can be used by wheelchair users too - and that's just perfect.
The London Underground is the oldest in the world. It has been working since 1863. The first day of working was transported 40 000 people. Nowadays can be transported more than 2 600 000 people per day!
You all know the London buses, right? The red ones. The Double deckers. Bus service transport weekly over 6 million people. If you are a tourist and you don't want to miss any interesting sight, you can take a tourist bus (Original London Sightseeing Tour or Big Bus Tour). You can get on any time on marked bus stops. The ticket costs about 25£ and is valid for 24 hours.
When you're in London you probably shouldn't miss museums, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Coca Cola London Eye etc. But I understand that everybody are not interested in history, architecture or you have seen it all already. So, just for you, I have prepared tips for some other interesting tourist attractions which are suitable also for children!
