TOP 3 SUPPLEMENTS

Hello everybody,
today I wanna talk about topic that is very, VERY important for our everyday life. It is our HEALTH. In my opinion, a key to a healthy life is a balanced diet. You have to learn how human body works and then how your own body works. Once you start figuring it out, so many things become more clear. I believe my body tells me what it needs and I just have to listen to it. 
Another thing I believe is that our body reflects our state of mind/mindset, so try to think positive as much as you can. Take care of your soul and do more of what makes you happy. 
If you want to do some change in your life attitude do baby steps. For example everyday think of 3 things you are grateful for. 
After 21 days it becomes a habit and after 3 months it becomes a lifestyle. 
What I personally love is yoga. Yoga benefits my body and my mind as well.
As I said - everybody is different, so you have to learn what your body needs and when you feel the best.

Anyway, I want to introduce you top 3 supplements that became a part of my daily routine and I swear by these.

PROBIOTICS

Probiotics are very important for our gut health. Probiotics are the good bacteria we all need. We have the bad bacteria too but there are moments when the bad bacteria overpower the good ones. And that's the problem! It will be reflected in our immune system, we can get digestion problems and our skin starts to showing up all these signs of imbalance. It also helps with our brain function and energy levels.
So, if you have an occasional bloating or a weak immunity.. here is the solution for you!
Of course, you don't have to take pills. There is a lot of food options which contain the good bacteria too (or lactobacillus). Remember - look for “fermented”1 foods. Want some examples?

KEFIR
Fermented milk product. It contains many bacteria and yeasts which helps to create unfavorable environment for pathogens.

KIMCHI
A spicy salad prepared from pickled and fermented vegetables.

KOMBUCHA
A sparkling drink which is produced by fermenting green tea. It maintains the overall balance in human body. It removes toxic substances2 such as nicotin and alcohol and also helps with insomnia.

Personally, probiotics helped me a lot. Trough the winter time I take the supplements to help with that immune system then I stop and eat fermented foods.
My favorite are these. You can take it 30 minutes before eating or 2 hours afterwards. When you take it right after eating it helps you with digestion, because there are digestive enzymes. That's good for vacation. Usually on vacation people eat havier meals than they are used to.


FISH OIL

Another miracle thing! We all should take a fish oil, because in our country is a bit problem with cosumption of fish. Most of us do not eat enough fish. (You know, the Czech republic is not a coastal state.) Fish oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids and it has a natural presence of vitamin D. It can prevent heart diseases. It is beneficial for your skin, hair and nails. Fish oil also helps with healthy pregnancy and post pregnancy care.


MACA POWDER

Maca powder is more a superfood than supplement but it is great! Maca is a plant known as Peruvian ginseng3Maca root is generally dried and consumed in powder form, but it's also available in capsules and as a liquid extract. Maca powder is very nutritios and it is a source of several vitamins and minerals. It boosts your energy and helps with hormonal imbalance. 





I wish Miranda Kerr's natural brand Kora Organics ships to the Czech republic. I would like to try this supplement. It has acai, pomegranate juice, matcha green tea and noni juice in it, which is also super beneficial for you.

And a recommendation at the end - eshop I like. iHERB. I haven't ordered anything yet but I am going to. What I find a bonus point is that they offers also vitamins for kids!

    As far as I know vitamin D is also created after exposure to the sun. It is for free.)
    Today I've had for breafast acidophilic milk, sometimes I just crave it so I suppose the body needs that. As you say.

  2. Hello Eva, I gotta say you are literally right! Superfoods are really important and maca powder is one of them. Have you heard about Chlorella or Spirulina? It is good for your health as well. You can find a lot of those superfoods on a czech e-shop "www.aktin.cz" so take a look. You can find there a lot of protein bars and so on..and I know that you like protein bars.

    1. Hi Sara, yes I've heard about chlorella and spirulina but I don't eat these. From greens superfoods I love barleygrass. Oh, Aktin - sometimes I order from this e-shop it is very good. I also like their "blog" with articles about health.
